Widely considered as the 8th wonder of the world, Milford Sound is nothing short of spectacular. Located in Fiordland, it is one of the wettest places on earth. The late afternoon weather does not seem to be a good one with rain and low hanging clouds through out the drive into Milford Sound, even until the time when I decided to give it a try despite the bad weather. However, patience eventually pay off, when some of the clouds cleared and allowed the sun to shine through the clouds and fjords creating a beautiful sunray.
